Moved into Washtenaw County at an early day . He settled on a farm in Caledonia, Shiawassee County, in 1837. He was connected with A. McArthur in a sawmill , and also engaged in commercial ventures in Corunna. He afterwards sold out and moved to Saginaw Co., where he died.
