Biographical Sketch:
Son of John and Polly (Bradford) Simonson. He was a merchant in Roxbury from 1825-35. He was in trade in Royal Oak, MI for 6 years; in Birmingham for 2 years; and Springfield for 16 years. He moved to Holly in 1860 and was in trade until 1866. In 1866 he organized the First National Bank of Holly and acted as president. He served as supervisor of Springfield for 5 years.
