Biographical Sketch:
Son of Elijah B. and Mary A. (Parker) Howarth. He began the practice of law in Rochester, MI, but in 1913, moved to Royal Oak and became a member of the firm of Dondero & Howarth. He served as circuit court commissioner for 2 terms and as a member of the draft board for the second district of Oakland County during the world war. He also served as assistant attorney general. He moved to Florida around 1934. In St. Petersburg, FL, he operated the Mari-Jean Hotel. Member of the Masons; and Knights of Pythias.
