Biographical Sketch:
Of Scottish descent. Son of Duncan and Jemima MacDonald. Practiced law in Larium. He suffered a stroke in 1930 and was confined to a wheelchair afterwards. Living in Larium, MI in 1942. Member of the Masons; ; Shriners, Marquette; IOOF [Odd Fellows], Knights of Pythias., BPOE [Elks].

Notable Facts:
Re-elected in 1926 and 1928, without opposition. He was speaker pro tem of the 1925-1926 legislature. House Resolution No. 30, p. 1525, 1954 House Journal, indicated that he died 4/17/1954.
