Biographical Sketch:
Of Scotch-Irish descent, Son of James W. and Augusta (Cornell) Osborn. His family moved to Kalamazoo when he was 7. Admitted to the bar after graduation in 1905 and formed the law firm of Osborn and Mills; later practiced alone. He was a steward in a mental hospital in 1910 and practicing law in Kalamazoo in 1920. During WWI, he was government appeal attorney for cases arrising under the selective service law. He was Republican county chairman from 1918-22.
