Parents, Elba and Josephine (Dwindell) Randall, were natives of VT and moved to Bronson, MI in 1835. His father was a physician. He moved to Coldwater in 1857 and practiced law until 1871. Closely associated with the establishment & development of the State Public School for Dependent Children in Coldwater. Established & became president of the Southern Michigan National Bank in Coldwater, 1872. Served on the State Board of Control of the public school in Coldwater.
