Biographical Sketch:
Son of Benjamin and Martha Fowle. He moved to Michigan in 1831, settling in Blissfield; he moved to Camden, Hillsdale Co., in 1835. He served as postmater, 1837-44; was the first supervisor and justice of the peace, serving in both posts for several years. He was a vlounteer in the Blak Hawk and Toledo wars.
