Biographical Sketch:
Son of Joseph W. and Clara Horton Long. He has always been a farmer by occupation excepting two years when he was engaged in developing and selling resort properties at Union Lake. He is also an auctioneer. Has held the following offices in Commerce township: Clerk, treasurer, highway commissioner, supervisor and chairman of the ways and means committee of the Oakland county board of supervisors. Fraternally he is a member of the Masonic and Eastern Star orders.
