Biographical Sketch:
He operated a farm in Iron county, served as justic of the peace, township clerk and supervisor for eleven years. He organized the Iron County Milling Co., and was its president for five years.

Notable Facts:
Republican, and was elected to the legislature November 8, 1938. about the middle of march, 1939, he was taken sick with a complication of diseases, and entered St.Lawrence hospitalfor an operation. He was later transferred to Sparrow hospital, where he died Wednesday morning, April 26. He was buried in Iron River. According to House Concurrent Resolution No. 34, 1939 House Journal, p. 1148 he died.
