Biographical Sketch:
Of German descent. Son of Herman and Caroline (Jantz) Taube. He emigrated to the U.S. around 1871 and naturalized about 1886. He was engaged in the meat business until 1912 when he retired. He was president of the Auto Bow Co. in Detroit; and vice-president of American Brewing Co. there. He was a Mason and director of Harbonie Society and member of Concordia and Arbeiter societies. Died in Florida.
