Biographical Sketch:
Son of Joseph Addison. and Jane (Porter) Snow. Son of Joseph A. and Jane (Porter) Snow. He taught for 6 or 7 years. At Shell Rock, IA, he taught for 4 years and the remainder of the time at Hanover. While teaching, he studied law. His health failed, delaying his admittance to the bar. It was recommended that he go to Kansas where he purchased a farm and gave to it his attention. He regained his health and was admitted to practice, October 12, 1882. He began the practice of his profession in Hanover, Jackson County, MI 2 years before being admitted but after his admission, he moved to Chesaning in 1882. He served as township supervisor and President of the Board of Education, village attorney.

Notable Facts:
Marriage record gives wife's name as Emma, other references use Annie. He died from Bright's Disease and heart disease.
