Biographical Sketch:
While attending college, he worked summers for GM and Ford. After medical school he trained at Beaumont Hospital in Detroit and specialized in cardiology. He returned to Saginaw to practice medicine and greatly expanded cardiac treatment options there. He was president of the Saginaw County Medical Society. He was an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine for MSU. Served on the Saginaw County Commission.

He received the 2002 Heart of Gold Award from the American Heart Association.
