Biographical Sketch:
He was a 40-year employee of General Motors. In 1968, he joined the company as a mailroom clerk and worked his way up to become the assistant director of General Motors' International Regulations Department. He served as an elected official for more than 20 years, including as a member of the Roseville Planning Commission, and the Roseville City Council, as chairman of the Parks and Recreation Commission, and mayor of Roseville. In 2006, Haugh was appointed to the Commission on Higher Education and Economic Development in Macomb County by Gov. Jennifer M. Granholm. He attended St. Athanasius Catholic Community and Haugh is a member of Father Solanus Casey Knights of Columbus.
