Biographical Sketch:
Son of Arnold Green. 1840 moved to Olivet, MI. Owned the general store in Olivet with partner Edwin N. Ely. During this time he traveled extensively and was actively engaged in milling, manufacturing, and building railroads. He served as Justice of the Peace and Supervisor for several years. Died three days after an accident while constructing a bridge. He was a republican.
