Member of the Highland-White Lake Business Association, the Oakland county Business Round Table, the Huron Valley chamber of Commerce, North Oakland Board of Realtors, citizen's Advisory Committee for the Friend of the Court, Michigan Association of Counties Judicial Committee, and Family Rights coalition of Michigan. He was involved with the Farm Bureau in Southeastern Michigan, Meals on Wheels and the Lions Club. He served as president for the North Oakland Republican Club and the chair for the Waterford Republican Caucus for 7 years.
