Biographical Sketch:
Son of Curtis and Vickie Hertel. Hertel worked for the Michigan House Democratic Caucus from 2001-13. He was a policy analyst for the Department of Community Health from 2004-05, and their legislative liason from 2005-2008. He was elected to the Ingham County Board of Commissioners from 2001 to 2008, and the Ingham County Register of Deeds from 2008-2014.
