He served as a fire fighter and police officer for the City of Muskegon Heights, 25 years and was employed part-time by the City of North Muskegon Police Department and the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Department. For 4 years, he was a Muskegon County Commissioner, serving as chair, 2015-16; Muskegon County Road Commissioner; member, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post #8846, American Legion Post #9, Muskegon Northside Lions Club, Muskegon Heights Optimist Club, Muskegon Fraternal Order of Eagles, Polish Roman Catholic Union of America, and Polish Falcons of America; served on WWII Legends Flight committee in 2014.
