Son of David and Mary M. (Rhodes) Thomas.Practiced in Constantine, St. Joseph Co., MI; moved to Allegan, MI, 1870. Surgeon in the Michigan Soldiers’ Home in 1907-1908. Member of the Michigan pardon board in 1909-10.

Notable Facts:
Served in the 7th Reg., Michigan Volunteer Cavalry; was promoted to 1st sgt. of Co. D. Elected as to the 53rd-54th Congresses, 1893-1897. Death certificate gives birth year as 1844; 1900 Census says 1843.
