Biographical Sketch:
Of Scottish descent. Son of John & Isabella (Murdock) Fyfe. He spent his youth and was educated in Scotland, returning to Canada in 1869. He began the study of law in St. Joseph, MI in 1870. He worked for a Chicago firm until 1873 or 74 when he was admitted to the Illinois bar. Commenced practice in Benton Harbor & St. Joseph, MI, 1874. He served as city attorney in St. Joseph and represented Berrian Co. at the constitutional convention of 1907. Member of the Masons, Odd Fellows, Independent Order of Forestes and Knights Templar.
