Biographical Sketch:
Son of George and Florence D. (Hopkins) Heine. He came to Mt. Clemens, MI, in 1870. A few years later, he moved with his parents to Saginaw. In 1884, he moved to Bay City, entering the employ of S. V. Wilkin, clothier, and remained with him until 1902; He then entered the clothing business with C. E. Janett under the firm name of Heine & Janett. This partnership continued until early in 1904, when Mr. Janett retired on account of ill health, Mr. Heine reorganizing the business under the name of A. O. Heine Co.
