He retired from farming in 1892 and moved to Ionia.Served as Vice-president and director of the First National Bank of Ionia. He was Supervisor and Chairman of the Board of Easton Township.
Notable Facts:
Grandson of Erastus Yeomans who was among the first settlers of Ionia County in May of 1833.
Son of Rep. Sanford A. Yeomans, an 1867 Constitutional Convention member and 1877-1879 Representative.
