Biographical Sketch:
He was the owner-operator of a family dairy farm and the chair of the Lapeer county EMS Board of Directors. He was the president of the Michigan Milk Producers Association Tri-County Local and board member of the Lapeer County Farm Bureau for 35 years. He served on the Arcadia Township Planning Commission, [1983-1985]; as Trustee [1985-89], Treasurer [1995-2008] and then Supervisor of Arcadia Township [1995-2008]. Former member of the Lapeer County Agriculture Preservation Board, the 4-H Dairy supervisor, and member of Michigan Right to Life and the National Rifle Association. Member of the Knights of Columbus, Kiwanis Club of Lapeer and Lapeer County Farm Bureau, Human Development Commission Board of Directors; serving Lapeer, Tuscola, Sanilac and Huron counties.
