Biographical Sketch:
Son of Thomas G. and Elizabeth (Moore) Campbell. He was employed by the state highway deppartment from about 1945 to 1957 as a buyer of right-of-way for roads. He was also the founder of the orginal motor freight line from Gladwin to Saginaw. Surviving are his wife; three sons, Robert J., Thomas G., and Walter M. Campbell Jr.; two daughters, Janet Ann, and Susan M., all at home.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Alfred Saulsbury, of St. Paul's Episocopal Church, officiated and burial was in Highland cemetery. Mason. Served as justice of the peace
Notable Facts:
His father was a retired Gladwin attorney, who represented the same districts in the legislatures of 1901 & 1903.
