Biographical Sketch:
Of Swiss and English descent. Moved to Alaiedon twp , MI with his parents in April, 1877. Admitted to the bar in spring 1891. Practiced law in Owosso and Eaton Rapids for 2 years before moving to Mason, 11/29/1892, staying until 4/22/1897. Practiced law in Nevada from then until 1898. At the beginning of rhe Spanish American War he organized a company of infantry and was commissioned as a captain. He mustered out in September of 1898 and practiced law again in Mason, MI until 2/1/1902 when he moved to a farm in Vevay twp.
