Biographical Sketch:
Son of Frederick K. or William and Margaret (Petz) Kendrick. In 1844, he came to Michigan with is parents where they settled in Belvidere, Macomb Co. They then moved to Mount Clemens, and from there to Marine City, Saint Clair County.
From Marine City he moved to the township of Erin, Macomb County, and became a farmer and cattle broker. He held several township offices of trust.
He was Sheriff of Macomb County 1870-74. He again moved to the city of Mount Clemens, and engaged in the hardware business. He was a principal stockholder in the J. M. Bour Coffee Company, of Toledo Ohio. In 1875 he became a building contractor and began the manufacture of sash doors blinds. He had a saw mill in Taymonth township. In 1885 was appointed Postmaster.
