Biographical Sketch:
He moved to Atlas, MI in 1836. He served as supervisor 7 terms between 1839 and 1848; justice from 1837-54; and associated county judge. He moved to Duplain, Clinton Co., MI in 1855 for 2 years before moving to St. Johns. He was superintendent of the poor in Clinton Co. from 1866 until his death in 1884.
