Biographical Sketch:
Of Scottish and English descent. Son of Clarence and Nessie J. (Porter) Amberson. He taught school for 2 years. Began his law practice in Blissfield, 1908. Served as village clerk. Acted as agent for a fire insurance company. He was an assistant prosecuting attorney in Detroit in 1930. He was practicing law in Detroit in 1942. Member of the Delta Sigma Rho fraternity; the national Grange and the Odd Fellows.
