Biographical Sketch:
Of Irish descent. He taught school in 1901–2. He practiced law for over 50 years, including time as city attorney for Kalamazoo for 3 terms [1907-10] and as part of the firm of Jackson, Fitzgerald and Dalm. He served as a member of the commission that drafted the Kalamazoo City Manager Charter. Member of the Elks and Knights of Columbus; member of the American Bar Association.

According to House Resolution No. 34, 1964 House Journal, p. 522, he died 2/27/1964 at his home in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
