Biographical Sketch:
Son of Isadore and Elanora (Lincoln) Middleton. Emigrated from Canada in 18875. For 10 years, he was foreman in furniture and carriage factories, for 3 years, a traveling salesman before turning to farming. He served as a member of the school board 3 terms, held most of the offices in subordinate grange, served 2 years as treasurer of Genesee County Pomona Grange, and 2 years as master of the same organization . He is also a 6th degree member of the Michigan state grange and deputy state organizer for the same. When the National Progressive party was organized he joined that party, at its first county meeting held in the city of Flint, at which time he was made a member of the committee on resolutions and elected a delegate to the first state convention held at Jackson. He was president of the Genesee county crop improvement association.

Died as a result of a fractured skull after falling out of an automobile.
