Biographical Sketch:
Of English parentage. Son of Dennis S. Wright, Jr. and Libbie Lake. He taught in Iron County and later in Luther, Lake County. In 1902, he entered law school; practiced law in Milan, MI., from 1905-19, In 1910, he was in York, Washtenaw County; in 1920, he was in Monroe, MI. Appointed municipal court judge in 1938 and elected to the post from 1939-53. He also served on the mayor's traffic and safety committee and on the Monroe County Circuit Court Jurors Commission. Member of the Masons and the monroe County Bar Association.
