Biographical Sketch:
Son of George and Jane Burfoot. Emigrated to Canada with his parents in 1867. Emigrated to the US in 1880 working in various places as a wood carver. He settled in Grand Rapids, MI in 1887. He studied law while working there and was admitted to the bar in 1895. In 1920 and 1930, he is living in Illinois and was a retired minister.
