Biographical Sketch:
Son of Charles T. Brenner.Emigrated to US in 1849 and naturalized in 1856. Located to Saginaw in 1850. Mined in Colorado, Montana, Idaho, Washington and British Columbia, 1857-65. Appointed city marshal of Saginaw in 1866; deputy sheriff in 1868. Served as constable, 1868-75; justice of the peace, 1875-85. Elected city recorder in 1880. Admitted to the bar in 1885. Elected recorder of consolidated city of Saginaw in 1890. In 1910 he was in real estate; in 1920, he was a legal expert in bank collaterals.
