Located in Branch County as an infant. Relocated to Ohio before locating in Grand Ledge as proprieter of Seven Islands Resort, 1886. Oversaw construction of Stone Dam, 1887. Built roller coaster at Seven Islands Resort, 1891. Constructed Round House, meant to be a rotating tower, but damaged and named "Mudge's Folly," 1892-93. See reference above.
