Son of Norton and Almeda (Howland) Baker. He served as highway commissioner, justice of the peace, and served as supervisor for seven years, 1880-7, and was chairman of the board in 1885 and 1886. Died as the result of an accident which occurred 5 weeks before his death. Member of the Masons; Knights Templar.
