Biographical Sketch:
Son of Nathan & Mary Jane (Dailey) Herrick. At age 20 entered the employ of Herrick Casket Company, spending 6 years as factory worker and traveling salesman. Also owned and operated a farm until 1946. In 1917 was elected supervisor of Bloomer township, Montcalm county, and served in that capacity until becoming county treasurer 1/1/1923, which office he held until 1/1/1929. In the spring of 1943 he was again elected supervisor of Bloomer Township and served until his death. Member of Farm Bureau, Grange, Lions Club & the Masons.
