He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Fort Gratiot Post 2254; American Legion, Judge John Faust Post 113; Amvets; Native Detroiters; the Masons; Eagles; Old Hickory Club; Southwestern Community Council; Gratiot Avenue Businessmen's Improvement Association; Park Drive Ravendale Improvement Association; Friendly Sons of St. Patrick; 21st Ward Democratic Club; George Engel Community Club; Federation of Filipino's of Michigan; Eastern Detroit Realty Association.
