Biographical Sketch:
He settled on Mackinac Island in 1817 and was living there at the time of his death. He held several local offices, including postmaster, and ran unsuccessfully for secretary of state in 1858.

Notable Facts:
Born about 1794 in Vermont; died in January, 1860, of cancer. Served in both chambers. According to MIBiog he did not take his seat in the 1835/36 session. Find-a-Grave says he died on Mackinac Island
