Biographical Sketch:
Son of Wallace A. Preston, who served in the Navy on the U.S. Proteus & the U. S. S. Stars & Stripes during the civil war.
His mother, Mary King Preston, mother of six sons and one daughter, came from a pioneer family of Berrien county.
Died in 1955. HR 7, 1955 House Journal, p. 26, indicated that he had died. No date or place of death given.

Member of Michigan State Bar Association. Served eight terms as a Barrien county supervisor.
Republican elected to the legislature in the 1923 and 1925 sessions and was elected again November 8, 1938.
