Biographical Sketch:
Son of Francis A. and Jane C. (Boggs or Griffith) Wells. In 1870, he came to Michigan and entered Michigan agricultural college, where he remained until the summer of 1873, when failing health compelled him to cease study and return to his home in Ohio. In 1875, he returned to Michigan and engaged in farming and lumbering. In 1890, he entered the veterinary department of Detroit college of medicine, and graduated with the degree of D.V.S. in 1893. Since then he has practiced veterinary surgery at Warren, MI.

Notable Facts:
Find-a-Grave gives mother's maiden name as Boggs' death certificate says Griffith. Died of heart disease.
