Biographical Sketch:
Son of Josiah and Abigail M.. (Gage) Stone. During his boyhood days was a resident of Commerce and Pontiac, Oakland County, moving to Saginaw in 1860. He was admitted to the bar at Saginaw in 1874 , and removed to St. Paul, MN, in 1875, returning to Saginaw in 1881 . He served as deputy county clerk from 1882-86, and justice from then until 1890 and as probate judge.
