Biographical Sketch:
Immigrated to the US in 1868, going direct to Chicago, where he worked for, and eventually became manager of, J. Daprato Statuary Company, now the Daprato Statuary Company. In 1876, he entered the employ of J. B. Fish & Company, Chicago, as hat pattern maker, and was with that firm until 1890; he moved to Iron Mountain, MI in 1889 where he retired from the firm of Daprato & Rigassi. Served 2 years as alderman. Member of the Masons, Knights Templar, and Odd Fellows.
