Biographical Sketch:
Moved from England to Houghton County, Michigan when he was 14.
He was employed by the Calumet and Hecla Mining company for foury years. Fraternally he is a member of the John H. Duncan Lodge, F. & A. M., Lake Linden, Lake Linden Lodge I.O.O.F., Lake Linden and Hubbell F.O.E. According to House Resolution No. 8, 1944 House Journal, p. 7, he died 3/21/1943 in Hubbell, Michigan.
Notable Facts:
Republican and served in the legislatures of 1921, 1923 and 1925, but lost his district because of re-apportionment. He was re-elected November 4, 1930.
