Biographical Sketch:
From 1920-1929 he was a Social Sciences teacher at Ypsilanti high school. He also taught at Michigan Normal College in Ypsilanti. Entered the officers' training camp at Fort Sheridan, IL, May 11, 1917, was commissioned and transfered to the air service from the cavalry, and served during the world war as a pilot in the US army air service after he engaged in farming.

Notable Facts:
Member of the Masons, the Knights of Pythias, the American Legion, the Grange, the Rotary club. Died of injuries received at the Kerns hotel fire on December 11, 1934.
