American descent. He was the city attorney of Pontiac, president of the board of education and a member of the board of education for over ten years. He was member of the 1908 Constitutional Convention. According to Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 2, Senate Journal, 1936 Extra Session, p. 4 he had died. No date or place of death.
