Parents Walter Baginski and Katherine (Kusniss) Baginski.

Was employed at I. F. Miller Dental Laboratory, Inc., of Pittsburgh, Pemmsylvania, as an errand boy and attended high school part time. He remained with the same organization eight years and became successively assistant manager in the Cleveland branch and divisional manager, located in Detroit.
