Biographical Sketch:
Son of George W. and Stella E. Bellows. Grandson of Benjamin Cagwin a pioneer of Michigan and Bay County. He was a life long Michigan resident.
Was employed as bookkeeper and salesman, and for several years was engaged in the wholesale and retail gas and oil business, engaged in nursery and poultry farming. Served both the township and county as treasurer.
Notable Facts:
Served in World War I. He served overseas with the 310 trench mortar battery for 9 months.
Elected to the legislature on the Democratic ticket in 1932 and re-elected November 6, 1934.
