Biographical Sketch:
Son of Alphonso P. and Sarah J. (Kinsman) Hart. His family moved to Blissfield, MI in 1874. After graduating in 1887, he taught until 1890, entered law school; taught for a year to earn money to complete law school. Taught an additional year before beginning the practice of law in Morenci, 1896. He served as school inspector of Blissfield Township 2 terms, township clerk of Seneca Township 2 years; village clerk of Morenci 2 years. He was Lenawee County prosecutor, 1907-10;a judge for the 39th Circuit Court 1915-26
