Biographical Sketch:
Son of Harry and Harriett (Elliot?) Wilcox. In 1854, he came to Michigan and worked as a farm hand until the fall of 1857, when he returned to the state of New York, where he married in 1858, and engaged in farming on his own account. In 1862, he sold his farm and returned with his family to Michigan, purchasing a farm at Corunna. He served 12 years as school trustee and 2 years as alderman.
