English-French descent. Held the office of township treasurer and supervisor of Marathon township. Chairman of the Lapeer County board of supervisors in 1919.
He has engaged in farming all his life with the exception of three years spent in the Columbiaville woolen mills.
Notable Facts:
Elected to the legislature in 1924 and 1926, and was again elected November 6, 1928, by a vote of 6,538 to 1,250 for Adelbert H. Ainsworth, and re-elected November 4, 1930.
