Biographical Sketch:
English descent. Son of William and Mary (Hickling) Osborn. He emigrated to the US in 1879. He served as Chippewa County Road Commissioner and originated the building of stone macadam roads in that county. He was associated with the Chippewa County Agricultural Society since its organization. Member of the Shriners; Knights Templar; the Odd Fellows; Knights of Pythias (Chancellor); the Elks; Pomona Grange (master); and Pine Groves Grange No. 1290.
